  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, following package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water, then drain the rest.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream while stirring continuously. Gradually add the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  4. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the skillet with the sauce until well-coated. If needed, add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
  5. Season with salt and pepper before serving hot.
