  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache (made from 6 oz chocolate and 1/2 cup heavy cream)
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in melted butter until smooth.
  4. Pour batter onto prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until it springs back when touched.
  5. While cooling, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form; fold in chocolate hazelnut spread.
  6. Once cooled slightly, invert cake onto parchment and spread filling evenly before rolling tightly.
  7. For ganache, heat cream until boiling, pour over chopped chocolate, stir until smooth, then spread over the rolled log.
