  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla extract.
  3. Sift in cocoa powder, then gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt until just mixed.
  4. In another bowl, mash raspberries into a sauce; add sugar if desired.
  5. Pour half the brownie batter into the pan; drizzle with half the raspberry mixture. Repeat layering and swirl gently with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean but slightly fudgy.
  7. Cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.
