Ingredients

  • 2 cups chocolate chip cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping (thawed)
  • 1/4 cup festive sprinkles
  • Optional: 1 cup crushed peppermint or gingerbread cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Press half of the cookie dough into the bottom of the dish. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie layer.
  5. Crumble remaining cookie dough over the cream cheese layer and bake for another 10-12 minutes until set. Allow to cool completely.
  6. Spread remaining whipped topping over the top and decorate with sprinkles or optional crushed cookies.
