  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth.
  4. Spread the sautéed spinach evenly in the greased baking dish. Crack the eggs on top (4 or 6 depending on preference) and pour the creamy mixture over them gently.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until egg whites are set but still jiggly.
