  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually mix into the dry ingredients until just blended—avoid overmixing.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about half an inch thick. Use a donut cutter or two round cookie cutters to shape the donuts.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry each donut for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, mix softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Transfer to a piping bag.
  6. Once cooled slightly, fill each donut with cream cheese mixture through the side and dust with powdered sugar mixed with extra cinnamon.
