  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth; gradually add sugar, mixing well. Add eggs one at a time, followed by sour cream.
  4. Toss apple slices with cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over the crust; layer apple slices evenly on top and pour remaining cheesecake mixture over the apples.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until edges are set but center has a slight jiggle. Cool completely before drizzling with caramel sauce.
