  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge sauce (for drizzling)
  • Optional: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted butter mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Drizzle with hot fudge sauce before serving.
