  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened (60g)
  • ½ cup whole milk (120ml)

Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until bubbly.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the activated yeast mixture, melted butter, and milk; stir until combined.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces; shape each piece into a ball and arrange them in a greased baking dish.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown on top.
