- 4–5 medium Russet potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
- Thinly slice the potatoes to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Layer the potato slices in the baking dish, seasoning each layer with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cheddar cheese.

- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
