Instructions
- Activate the yeast by combining warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and melted butter; mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled (about 1 hour).
- While the dough rises, mix melted butter with minced garlic and chopped herbs.
- Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into equal pieces. Shape into balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
