  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (almond or peanut)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the nut butter and honey/maple syrup until well combined.
  4. Gradually mix in the whole wheat flour, rolled oats, and cinnamon until just combined.
  5. Fold in the dark chocolate chips gently into the dough.
  6. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.
