  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Mini M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter with granulated and brown sugars until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in Mini M&Ms and chocolate chips if using.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spaced two inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden; centers may look slightly underbaked.
  9. Let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
