  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 5 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for topping)
  • Cinnamon for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Beat in eggs and milk until combined. Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. While cooling, mix sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, whole milk, and vanilla in another bowl.
  5. Poke holes in the cooled cake with a fork and pour the milk mixture over it slowly.
  6. Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form and spread over the soaked cake. Optionally sprinkle with cinnamon.
