  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls; place them on prepared baking sheets spaced apart.
  6. Gently press your thumb into the center of each ball to create an indentation.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden. Remove from the oven, cool slightly, then fill each thumbprint with caramel sauce followed by chocolate chips and pecans.
