- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup ketchup (divided)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the chopped onion until translucent; add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions and garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, half of the ketchup, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.

- Spread the remaining ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
