Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, cover and remove from heat; let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Cool and peel: Transfer eggs to an ice-water bath for 5-10 minutes. Crack and peel under running water.
  3. Make the filling: Cut eggs in half lengthwise and scoop yolks into a bowl. Mix yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper until smooth.
  4. Add color (optional): Divide mixture and add food coloring for spooky hues.
