  • 4 oz high-quality salami, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped (or 1 tbsp dried)
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the Pasta: Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve some cooking water.
  2. 2. Sauté the Aromatics: In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant and golden, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the Salami: Toss in sliced salami and crisp for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. 4. Combine Ingredients: Add cooked pasta to the skillet with salami. Stir well to combine.
  5. 5. Toss It Together: Mix in red pepper flakes, basil, and Parmesan cheese. If too dry, add reserved pasta water one tablespoon at a time.
